Spray-painted letters that spell out “Mua” on an unassuming building near Oakland’s auto row are the only sign that you’re about to stumble into Uptown’s latest happening nightspot. Smaller letters above that announce “lunch, dinner” and, most important, “bar,” further hint at the fun that awaits.
